Chelsea Ballinger, aka Chels Dreams, is a film photographer based in Chicago, Illinois, where she is also a therapist.
In photography, her primary focus is exploring and conveying the soft rawness of humans, specifically the black identity. Intrigued by human behavior and passionate about storytelling, Chels approaches her subjects always with genuine intention. She hopes to contribute to the global photographic archives and in changing the narrative when it comes to blackness in many creative forms.
